Abigail then took the National Federation of Paralegal Associations’ Core Registered Paralegal Exam to earn her certification as a Paralegal. She continuously attends seminars, luncheons, and classes to continue and further her legal education as a paralegal. Abigail began her career as a paralegal with the Shawnee County Counselor’s Office as a Legal Secretary before working for Mack & Associates.
Through her love of being a paralegal, Abigail joined the Kansas Paralegal Association (KPA) in 2015, and was elected as a board member in 2016. She is still actively involved with the KPA and on the KPA’s Board of Directors as the District II Director. Abigail also received Paralegal of the Year in 2016 for her hard work and outstanding performance in the KPA’s 2016-2017 membership year. She enjoys being able to promote the significance of a paralegal in and out of a law office, and to advocate and help other paralegals.
Abigail sincerely enjoys all aspects of being a paralegal, and finds her work as a paralegal professionally fulfilling. It brings great joy to Abigail to assist the clients and make their life easier through their difficult times.
